Trainee programmes at Scheidt & Bachmann

You have studied and are now ready for your career? At Scheidt & Bachmann we are ready for talents who are at the beginning of their career and want to intelligently shape their future with us.

Our trainee programmes are designed to give you plenty of practical experience right from the start. Over the course of 12 to 18 months, you will get to know our various products and international colleagues. You will find out which position suits you and can put your skills to the test.

Right from the start: Diverse assignments with responsibility

You will be integrated into current projects and tasks from day one and take on your own responsibility in the varied daily business. Through challenging tasks in various company divisions, you will come into contact with our diverse products and with our customers. You will get to know our internal structures and build up your network. The trainee programme also includes a 3-month assignment abroad. During this exciting station, you can actively experience and help shape international cooperation.

Our investment in your personal development

In addition to the individual programme schedule, we also invest in your personal development. During the trainee programme, you will have a mentor who will support you and reflect on your progress. In addition, detailed feedback rounds on your performance and direct progress take place at the end of each station. An individual training plan to acquire technical and methodological skills rounds off our programme and is designed to support you in building and improving your skills.

Award for our trainee programmes

Together with the Institute for Human Resource Management at the Ludwig-Maximilians University in Munich, Absolventa GmbH has developed a scientific testing procedure for trainee programmes to evaluate their quality standards. We are very proud that our self-imposed high quality standards have been successfully reviewed and that we have received the Absolventa GmbH award. The award recognises both the structure and content of the trainee programmes as well as the operational framework and the assurance of high quality standards.

Our "Sales" traine programme – at a glance

  • Duration: 15-18 months
  • Good start through an intensive induction phase with mentoring programme

  • Professional transfer of operational and strategic knowledge as well as experience in direct sales

  • Assumption of challenging tasks in sales

Our "Project Management" trainee programme – at a glance

  • Duration: 12-15 months
  • Good start through an intensive induction phase with mentoring programme
  • Professional training in project management and interface functions
  • Familiarisation with and training in the PRINCE2 project management method
  • Insights into different areas such as sales, bid management, development, production, after sales
  • Assumption of responsibility in project management with dedicated projects (development and/or customer projects)
  • Three-month stay abroad in one of our subsidiaries

We regularly advertise internship positions separately in the "Vacancies" section of our website before a new start. If this is not the case at the moment, you are welcome to apply on your own initiative.

You should have completed your studies in the areas currently in demand and have an interest in technology and IT. Ideally, you have already gained some work experience through internships. Since you will gain experience abroad as part of the trainee programme, fluency in German and English is required.
