Over the past few days, we have been showcasing our new FareGo PG|50 for the first time while here at InnoTrans 2024 in Berlin. Visitors will continue to have the opportunity to experience first-hand how the functionality in our new gate can significantly improve public transport for both operators and passengers.
Our new FareGo PG|50 (Press Release) was already one of the highlights on the first two days of the fair, thanks to its seamless integration of digital ticket media, which significantly eases access to public transport, and its intuitive operational features.
In addition, the FareGo PG|50 cuts down operating costs. This is in part by reducing service needed but it’s also due to its new fraud-prevention capabilities.
Through our augmented reality experience, visitors to our booth have been enjoying a first-hand look at how the new fare gate’s account-based ticketing works, following its validation process.
We’ve also been showcasing our contactless ticketing device, the FareGo FlexT|50, with on-site demos here in Berlin. The modular design makes it quite versatile, allowing it to work well fixed at a station or on-the-go aboard specific buses and trains.
At Wednesday’s Mix & Connect, we talked with valued customers, partners and renowned industry experts about the ever-evolving requirements of fare collection technology. We also discussed the challenges of continuing to increase public transport appeal and ridership.
Our own team of experts have been providing insight into our holistic fare collection system solutions and our unique servicing range, both for specific devices and system-wide. These have been busy and exciting days, and we look forward to continuing to share new ideas, technologies and solutions to transform the passenger experience into a simple, stress-free journey.
InnoTrans 2024, with its focus on the future of mobility, has been, as always, a great success.
