Our market is rapidly evolving. Digitalization and energy transformation are significantly changing consumer behavior among drivers. Gas station operators are expanding their energy offerings to include EV charging stations and hydrogen, while simultaneously broadening their service spectrum in shops and gastronomy. Additionally, new destinations for modern mobility are emerging with charging parks for electric vehicles.
With our new company name, Scheidt & Bachmann Energy Retail Solutions GmbH, we underscore our competence as a leading integrator of comprehensive, cloud-based solutions in this dynamic market. We offer innovative solutions for multi-energy and multi-service applications at traditional gas stations, mobility hubs, and charging parks.
We showcased these developments at this year’s UNITI expo in Stuttgart from May 14 to 16, 2024. A standout highlight at the expo was our dedicated e-mobility area, both at our exhibition stand and in the Future Mobility Lounge, where we were present in collaboration with our partners ChargePoint and GP Joule Connect. Visitors were particularly impressed by our product highlights, SIQMA PowerPay and SIQMA FlowMax.AI.
SIQMA PowerPay is our groundbreaking payment kiosk for charging parks, specifically designed to meet the modern demands of e-mobility. This system simplifies the payment process at charging stations and ensures AFIR-compliant implementation. With its flexible design, SIQMA PowerPay offers numerous mounting options, allowing for precise installation at any location. In partnership with ChargePoint and through the integration of SIQMA PowerPay into ChargePoint's beEnergised CPMS, we provide a customized solution for a wide range of electric charging sites.
SIQMA FlowMax.AI, our new AI-based solution, optimizes the utilization of charging stations. Based on precise calculations, SIQMA FlowMax.AI displays the remaining charging time of each in-use charger, enabling drivers to quickly decide whether it's worth waiting. Combined with SIQMA Sign, our outdoor-friendly digital display, operators can also show advertisements or current charging rates, further enhancing the customer experience and strengthening customer loyalty. Both SIQMA PowerPay and SIQMA FlowMax.AI are integrated through our SIQMA Charge Cloud, which ensures seamless communication with various backend systems.
Another highlight was our presentation of a special use case in collaboration with Logpay and Washtec: booking and paying for car washes from within the vehicle. SIQMA Carwash.Connect allows users to purchase car washes via the vehicle's onboard computer or an app, with the payment automatically recorded in our SIQMA POS 2.0 system. This innovative solution will be implemented for the first time at Esso stations in Germany in cooperation with EG.
Our SIQMA POS 2.0 cash register solution also impressed the professional audience with various additional use cases for gastronomy or as a self-checkout terminal. The modernized user interface simplifies operation and offers an excellent user experience.
A special highlight on the second day of the expo was the live demonstration of our products at our exhibition stand. Numerous visitors took the opportunity to learn about our solutions on-site. We were also pleased to welcome a special guest: Achim Bothe, CEO of Aral. In a conversation with Jörg Heilingbrunner, the focus was on our long-standing partnership and how we are jointly advancing the future of mobility.
