This year Scheidt & Bachmann celebrates its 150th anniversary. Among other things, an open day was held to mark the occasion.
Already in mid-May, the Mönchengladbach site opened its doors to the public. A colourful programme of plant tours, a science show as well as food and drinks in the newly opened staff restaurant "sub's" attracted more than 3,000 visitors. They were all enthusiastic about the diverse product range and the modern orientation of the company.
