From 14 to 16 May, the doors of IT-Trans opened once again in Karlsruhe. At the international conference and trade fair for intelligent solutions for public transport, we’ve been sharing new ideas about sustainable, digitally controlled urban mobility.
Together with Women in Mobility (WiM), we kicked off three exciting days at the trade fair with a #WarmUp networking meeting. The perfect place to start the fair, we exchanged ideas with new and familiar faces from across the WiM community.
Another highlight of the event has been our new fare gate - FareGo PG|50 - which visitors have been invited to experience and test live via an innovative augmented reality showcase. In addition to the new gate, our team has also presented advanced solutions enabling passengers to travel with less stress, more ease and better support. These include our FareGo Flex T|50, the multi-purpose fare management solution that adapts to your unique mass transit needs. Visitors have been learning about its revolutionary fare management system and how it’s paving the way for Account-Based Ticketing (ABT) systems by seamlessly integrating with Open Payment and cEMV processing.
At our Mix & Connect get-together on Wednesday, our team of experts discussed topics such as account-based ticketing, mobile and open payment methods and other emerging trends.
Today, Lucas Weinreich, our Director of Sales Operations, presented the future of fare pricing through the use of innovative fare models for mobility management and shared exciting insights, as well as how leverage fare pricing provides more efficient transport networks for greener cities.
It’s been three exciting days full of inspiration, innovative solutions and new technologies in the field of fare management. We would like to thank all visitors for the enriching and valuable conversations with our on-site team.
