The question in regards of availability and maintenance has an important priority for computer controlled level crossing systems. The demand to reduce maintenance efforts and failure times to an absolutely minimum steps more and more in economic focus. Therefore maintenance free systems and service / maintenance supporting systems are more important than ever before.
Electronic level crossing system BUES 2000 and its field components are created as maintenance free components. For each BUES 2000 can be integrated a diagnosis computer, which is connected to safety system in reaction less way. For diagnosis the CAN telegrams, which sent on the system bus, can be read and displayed with an analysis program. Connection via modem network to diagnosis centre is possible as well.
At station computer there is a diagnosis- and service program installed, which is responsible for data registration, data storage, data displaying, analysis, automatically alerting and data transfer in failure cases realised. Via menu can be displayed and evaluated the reported data. Diagnosis system show and save all data in real time, text in clear and in chronological time table.
