Around 8,000 passengers are handled at this terminal per cruise. Large ships such as the Queen Mary 2, the AIDAprima and AIDAperla, the MSC Virtuosa and Preziosa as well as the Mein Schiff 6 or the Brittania will dock here in 2023.
The most modern cruise terminal in Hamburg also includes state-of-the-art parking processing technology from Scheidt & Bachmann - entervo ticketless. Cameras record the number plate at the 6 entrances and 5 exits. When booking a cruise, it is possible to reserve a parking space in advance by stating the car registration number. The parking fee can be paid in advance at the time of booking or at the four pay stations. Of course, truck delivery traffic and coach access are also technically taken into account.
"We are very pleased to once again be able to count the property among our portfolio. Similar to our airport projects, we offer the parking customer long-term and thus relaxed holiday planning through the possibility of reserving the parking space online. As payments are made online in advance, we can keep the number of machines in the car park low." adds Anja Müller, Director Operations at APCOA PARKING Deutschland GmbH.
At the Cruise Center, the holiday already begins in a relaxed way before boarding the cruise ships.
