London Southend Airport is officially the UK’s fastest growing airport. It welcomed almost 1.5 million passengers in 2018 – up 35 per cent from the 1.1 million it handled the previous year. The airport’s owner, Stobart Group, hopes to raise that figure to more than 2 million by 2020. In 2018 London Southend Airport (LSA) held a competitive exercise to replace their existing equipment. The motivation behind the replacement was to have a parking system that matched the ambition of the airport. They requested the latest innovation and technology, with a level of service far beyond their experience with the existing supplier.
